A balanced army, with a shock and a manouver wing corps. Both have good terrain capability. The center is quite solid and can provide good support to flank commands.

C4- 6IBgF - 6ME

Stratagem (10AP): Ambush

Hannibal's version before Cannae. This army has tools to face almost every kind of enemy in the historical period, but coordinate the different troops type can be tricky.

C2- SG RCvO, 10 RSpO, 4 RPsO - 18ME

C3- SG RCvO, 8 RAxS, 4 IElI, 2 RPsO, 5 ILhO - 24ME

C4- 6 IBgI - 6ME

D) Paglianti list, placed second in Milano 2012

C1- C-in-C RCvO; 5 IElI; 12 RAxS; 1 ILHO – 24 ME

C2- SG RCvO; 8 RCvO; 4 RPsS; 8 ILHO – 24 ME

C3- SG RCvO; 12 RSpO; 6 IPsS – 21 ME

C4- 6 IBgI – 6 ME

This army version rely more on ElI attack. Spears are just a link and a support, while the main tasks are given to wing troops: Elephants have the shock job, Cv and Lh outflank, AxS attack terrain
